We were thrilled to be presented with a cheque for £4,000 from John Hodgson, Chair of the Nidderdale Messiah. John came along to 34 Claro Road, our residential home, to present the cheque to Caroline, one of our service users, on 10 January. Today we have launched our Listening Line. This is a dedicated phone line where users of our services, or those supporting them, can ring if they want to talk to someone confidentially about any of our services.
If callers are ringing about abuse or suspected abuse they will be directed to the relevant Safeguarding Team, if they feel unable to make that call themselves we will put the referral system immediately in place. Continue Reading
Our lodge now has a roof! We are well on track for the build to be completed by Christmas and still hope to open in the early spring. We are meeting the kitchen fitters tomorrow and choosing the flooring so it’s all moving along very quickly.
The lodge, in the form of many logs, was delievered on 1 November. Building work has now started and we are hoping that the weather holds up so that it can be finished before Christmas. Continue Reading
