Our Leadership team:
Chief ExecutiveI started with the charity in 2001 and became Chief Executive in 2007. Originally trained as a nurse, I have spent most of my working life within management positions in health and social care. DAY is an amazing charity and I feel so proud of the achievements made by the organisation, our customers and our staff.
Training ManagerI have spent my professional life in roles within training and education, working with a diverse mix of people across a broad range of settings. I am pleased to be able to bring my experience, skills and abilities to Disability Action Yorkshire, and lead the training department to provide bespoke solutions for disabled people, regardless of aspiration.
Care and Support ManagerI have spent most of my working life in health and social care, joining Disability Action Yorkshire in 2013. Since then I have worked my way up to managing the care and support services of the charity. No two days are the same and I get immense satisfaction seeing our customers develop their independent living skills.
