34 Claro Road is a care home, registered with the Care Quality Commssion, for younger adults (18-65) with physical disabilities.

We provide accommodation for twenty people which is divided into two self contained ten person units.

Situated in the lovely spa town of Harrogate, 34 Claro Road is convenient for local amenities and the town centre.

The communal lounges and dining room are spacious and well equipped as is the fully accessible kitchen where service users plan and prepare meals with the assistance of staff.

All bedrooms have an ensuite shower room and modern high quality furnishings and equipment including ceiling tracked hoists.

Each person living at 34 Claro Road is offered the highest standard of physical and emotional support, along with continuous assessment, goal setting , care planning and risk assessment.  We recognise that each individual has varying needs, abilities and priorities and will develop independence skills at their own rate.

The ethos of the centre is to deliver personal care and support, but more importantly to provide training and opportunities for an independent lifestyle.  Our aim is to train or retrain the people living in the centre to gain the skills they require.

In order to achieve our aims we have provided a training flat where those people who feel ready to make the move can live independently, with the knowledge that staff are available if needed.
