10/08/2009 - We Gain National Quality Mark

Disability Action Yorkshire has been accredited with the nationally recognised quality mark for organisations which provide support to individuals to make learning and work more accessible - the matrix Standard.

We wanted to make sure that we were giving our trainees, service users and staff the best information, advice and guidance possible, so we decided that the matrix Standard would help us to make sure that that was what we were doing as well as helping us to provide a more professional service.

The accreditation process included interviews with staff, trainees and partner organisations as well observation and a review of documentation.

Jackie Snape, the Director of Disability Action Yorkshire, said "we are so pleased that our commitment to high quality service provision and continuous improvement has been formally recognised"

Any other organisations that would like to know more about how the matrixStandard might be able to help them can find out more by contacting the matrix Standard enquiry line on 0870 770 2468 or their website www.matrixStandard.com
