A Second New Kitchen!

by Jackie Snape

Wall Cupboards in Action

Work is now completed on the second new kitchen at 34 Claro Road, our residential unit for younger adults with physical disabilities.  As with the first kitchen it has rise and fall worktops, sink and hob.  The wall cupboards are also height adjustable with all of the controls being easy to use.  The kitchens will really make a difference to the lives of the people living at 34 Claro Road, with meal preparation forming a big part of the training in independent The service users on the unit are really pleased with the new kitchen and say that they prefer it to the kitchen on the other unit as it is purple!

It is thanks to the generosity of trusts and individuals that we have been able to install two new kitchens this year.  If you would like to make a donation to enable us to continue to develop our services please click here
