‘Move On’ Accommodation

Target £180,000

To purchase and adapt accessible accommodation to rent in the Harrogate area.

We currently have people in the training flats at 34 Claro Road who area ready to move out into the community to independently live the lifestyle of their choice. Unfortunately there is a notable lack of accessible accommodation readily available in Harrogate and we believe the solution to this is to provide this ourselves.

Holiday Accommodation

Target £76,000

To purchase an adapted caravan and pitch at Primrose Valley near Filey in North Yorkshire.

We currently have an accessible holiday lodge, 3 Kenwick Woods, in Louth, Lincolnshire which has been hugely successful in allowing disabled people and their families get away on holiday.

The demand has been incredible and we are over subscribed and have waiting lists in place which demonstrates the need for this service.

We want to offer different holiday experiences based on what disabled people tell us they want are now looking at purchasing another holiday accommodation in a different setting to allow us to give people more choice in their holiday destination.

“The care workers are all excellent. During the winter, which of course was exceptional this year, we were particularly grateful that full care was maintained throughout.
