Fundraising Events for 2012 are being planned at the moment but here are a few organised so far: 8th February 2012 – Introduction to Volunteering Training Course – Volunteers required to support disabled learners 21st February 2012 – Pancake Day – Hold an event at school or work & raise funds in a fun way 18th March 2012 – Harewood 10k Run – We have 3 runners raising money for Disability Action Yorkshire support them on the day or donate at : http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/DisabilityActionYorkshire 22nd April 2012 – Darley Mill Centre Duck Race and Family fun day – sponsor a Duck! More events coming include – Quiz Night, Harrogate to Holiday Lodge sponsored walk and Charity Cook Book Launch. We simply could not hold successful fundraising events without the amazing support of our fundraising volunteers. Becoming a fundraising volunteer is a great way to meet new friends, have some fun and help disabled adults in your local community at the same time.
