Amazing Day at the Cricket

On Friday I went to see the first day of the second test between England and India at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.  I was very impressed with the facilities at the ground.  Myself and Peter were sitting on the second tier of the Radcliffe Road stand and I have to say that we couldn’t have been in a better position to watch the action.

India who were 1-0 down after the First Test won the toss and decided to bowl first.  Everything seemed to be going well for the tourists with England on 124 for 8 at tea but they hadn’t reckoned on the explosive batting of Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann.  The two Nottinghamshire batsmen eventually saw England to a competitive total of 221 all out. The New Kitchen

We have now got our brand new kitchen on Unit B which is designed to give us more independence and more space to move around. We have got height adjustable work tops which can cone down to are level so that we can help out with the cooking and washing up. As well as the work tops we also have a talking microwave which has big buttons that are easy to press and it tells us how many minutes we have set it to cook for. I hope that the kitchen continues to help us with our independence.
