Amazing Day at the Cricket
On Friday I went to see the first day of the second test between England and India at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. I was very impressed with the facilities at the ground. Myself and Peter were sitting on the second tier of the Radcliffe Road stand and I have to say that we couldn’t have been in a better position to watch the action.
India who were 1-0 down after the First Test won the toss and decided to bowl first. Everything seemed to be going well for the tourists with England on 124 for 8 at tea but they hadn’t reckoned on the explosive batting of Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann. The two Nottinghamshire batsmen eventually saw England to a competitive total of 221 all out. Continue Reading
